Topography - The parish (St. Mary) is mountainous with elevations up to 1200m. St. Mary was, incidentally, one of the first colonies of Jamaica colonized by the Spaniards. It was given its name by the later conquest by the English. Our cocoa from Jamaica grows at the foot of the Blue Mountains.
Description - Our raw cocoa from Jamaica is by far the most beautiful one we have in our program. The extremely clean and carefully cleaned cocoa beans from Jamaica come with a special property. The cocoa is carefully polished before packing. The beans are "coated" in large pans. By the friction of the beans among themselves, these become completely smooth. The beans are free from stones or other foreign objects.
